June 20 – Team 3 comes on board

After last week’s weather-adjusted turnover, today’s weather cooperated for a smooth transition.

Here are new volunteers Bekah, Tara & Patrick, with Board President Linda Posler as their escort, as they left Leland Harbor this morning.

The team got to work immediately. By mid-afternoon, Patrick had changed the oil & sparkplug in our inverter generator (seldom used now that we have solar, but an important backup.) He then moved on to work on a long-neglected window.  Meanwhile Tara gave tours to three groups of boaters who took advantage of the good weather to visit.

Sandra, our team lead from last week, remains “on island” for two more weeks.
