July 3 – Team 5 Arrives

Team 5, consisting of Barb, Linda, Cathy & Tom, arrived on today’s afternoon team turnover (a day early to avoid parades and crowds in Leland on the 4th.)

Plastering and lantern room work are no longer on the agenda. Instead, they arrived with wood to work on adding a lean-to to the shed. They plan on making tweaks to the water system, adding bollards to the landing area and beginning work on the kitchen floor.

The team reported seeing distant fireworks from multiple mainland displays.

Barb is always good reporting the weather, something historic keeper’s logs were famous for:  “Temperature at 9pm was 68, Barometer was 29.88 steady. No wind.” Lovely sleeping weather.
